Marble Elementary School - one of six elementary schools in East Lansing Public Schools - prides itself on a high level of parent involvement, a highly qualified and empathetic staff, a safe, orderly, and nurturing school climate, and incredible compassionate children who work diligently to be great learners and world citizens.
As a community, we strive each day to meet and exceed the goals stated in the Marble Muskrat Motto:

Be Safe. Be Courteous. Be a Learner.

Students at Marble receive a well-rounded education based on a technology-integrated academic curriculum with an emphasis on differentiated instructional practices that meet the varying needs and interests of all of our students. Marble rounds out its full academic program with students receiving daily rich instructional time in the specialized academic areas of music, art, STEM literacy, and physical education, all vital parts of a balance in a young person's educational experience.
